Product launch: Bespoke car scheme policy
Aviva has launched a bespoke insurance policy for businesses that operate an employee salary sacrifice car scheme.
Modelled on its Fleetwise commercial insurance product the scheme is designed to offer the best of a commercial policy to protect an employer along with the characteristics of personal lines products to protect employees.
The insurer claimed it was the first product to meet the growing popularity of salary sacrifice where companies reward staff with tax-efficient employee benefits.
Under the scheme insurance premiums are fixed for the duration of the scheme, typically two or three years.
