Acquisitions on the horizon, says Autonet’s Donaldson after HPS purchase

Deal valued the broker at north of £100m.

Ian Donaldson, the managing director of Autonet, has hailed the majority purchase by Towergate-backer HPS Investment Partners.

The deal is believed to have valued the business at £100m, a figure Donaldson declined to contradict.

He told Insurance Age that he was excited by the opportunities in the future and after achieving the deal with a "financial powerhouse".
