Clare Ryder fears the worst is yet to come for insurers and brokers alike, with 2010 likely to see an increasing pressure on rates, cash reserves and staff, compounded by skyrocketing insurance claims.
The last year was a challenging one for the financial services sector and 2010 looks unlikely to show much sign of improvement. Arguably, for insurers, this year may well prove to be the most challenging faced for some considerable time.
