Methodology
Between June 29th and August 17th 2009, 630 broker readers of Professional Broking, Post Magazine and Insurance Age completed an online questionnaire tackling the service they got from their commercial insurers. Respondents were instructed to grade commercial lines insurers of which they had had hands-on experience in the previous 12 months, on the aspects of service of which they had direct personal knowledge.
We listed seven distinct aspects of service:
