Das launches private prosecution against Paul Asplin

Asplin called to criminal court on fraud charges as he denies charge.

Legal expenses insurer Das has launched a private criminal prosecution against former CEO Paul Asplin, Insurance Age can reveal.

Asplin confirmed to Insurance Age that he has been served with a summons to appear in court on fraud charges and that Das is pursuing a private prosecution against him.

Asplin has protested his innocence.
