One Commercial launches unoccupied property cover

The new product will be provided to a limited number of independent brokers as One Commercial plans a range of new products.

One Commercial has launched a policy for unoccupied properties and revealed that it plans to develop a number of new products for its independent broker panel.

According to One Commercial MD Mike Keating, the product is a first for the business, and is an example of its strategy to provide solutions to a limited number of independent brokers.

Keating said: "We are broadening the types of cover we provide to help independent brokers meet their clients' needs."

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
