Henderson raises possibility of AIM flotation

Broker states it is on the verge of its next acquisition.

Henderson Insurance Broking Group is considering the possibility of a listing on the London Stock Exchange's Alternative Investment Market (AIM), chief executive Joe Henderson has confirmed.

In a statement released to coincide with the firm's 30th anniversary, he acknowledged that "speculation continues about the future of the company".

It has previously been linked with a takeover by acquisitive USA-based Integro although any deal appears to have stalled.
