Biba launches 2016 manifesto

Manifesto focuses on accessing insurance, cyber risks, claims, motor, flood, Europe and fair regulation.

The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has launched its manifesto for 2016 titled ‘Fairness for All'.

It was unveiled at the Houses of Parliament and includes 18 calls for action for the government and regulator, and 14 Biba commitments on issues facing general insurance brokers.

The trade body's key calls for action are:

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
