Ageas joins the Insurance Fraud Register

Database helps insurers identify fraudsters.

Ageas Insurance has joined the Insurance Fraud Register (IFR).

The database is managed by the Insurance Fraud Bureau (IFB) and helps insurers in their fight against fraud costs.

Ageas said members of the IFR can share details of known fraudsters which can be used to strengthen the initial validation process at the application stage in order to avoid potential fraudulent claims.
