Amanda Blanc to lead new Axa Insurance unit
Provider to launch integrated general insurance operation on 1 January 2016.
Axa has revealed that Amanda Blanc will lead a new integrated general insurance operation from 1 January 2016 comprising commercial lines, personal lines intermediary and personal direct and partnerships.
The news came as Axa UK and Ireland posted a 27% increase in earnings for the first half of 2015 to £150m (H1 2104: £118m).
Revenue growth
Revenues from general insurance and healthcare rose 5% to £2.1bn with the insurer highlighting 4% growth in commercial. UK direct motor and healthcare
