Axa teams up with Mapledown on construction PI risks
Insurer to provide capacity for Mapledown to target UK regional construction firms.
Axa commercial lines and personal intermediary has made a deal to provide the capacity for Mapledown's construction professional indemnity (PI) risks.
The specialist MGA, owned by Lockton, will work closely with Axa's PI team in London and Bristol to use Mapledown's national coverage to target UK regional construction firms.
According to Axa, the deal is part of the insurer's growth strategy in the construction PI market and discussions are underway to explore further capacity opportunities.
