Towergate bought Arista Insurance for £16.7m
The figure is revealed in the consolidator's 1st quarter 2015 bondholder report.
Towergate acquired Arista Insurance for £16.7m in April 2014 according to its 1st quarter interim bondholders report for 2015.
The price for the managing general agent was not disclosed at the time the acquisition was confirmed.
Insurance Age had initially revealed the deal would take place ahead of a formal announcement being made.
The bondholder report states Towergate made seven acquisitions in the 12 months to the end of December 2014.
