Biba 2015: Biba and Mactavish launch Insurance Act 2015 guide
Experts to explain the implications of the Act to brokers at the Biba Conference.
The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) and Mactavish, insurance governance experts, are set to launch an introductory guide to the Insurance Act 2015 at this year's Biba Conference.
The Act, which received royal assent in February this year will come into force on 12 August 2016, and it will lead to important changes to the way commercial brokers in the UK work, including the new duty of fair representation and reasonable search requirements.
