Axa launches home insurance product for affluent clients

Insurer says product covers standard or valuable buildings and contents.

Axa has launched a new online home insurance product which caters for affluent clients with higher sums to insure than typically provided for by the mass market.

The insurer claims that Axa Advanced, in tandem with existing policies, ensures that brokers can cover broad customer needs ranging from standard through to more valuable buildings and contents.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
