51 brokers accepted to Allianz 2015 scholarship programme

CII Diploma course is now in its fourth year.

Allianz has selected 33 commercial brokers and 18 personal lines brokers to attend its 2015 scholarship programme.

In January, the insurer said it was looking to take on 50 new scholars and that the studies would begin in May.

Allianz said it had received over 150 applications from brokers hoping to attend the programme this year.

According to Allianz, the CII Diploma in Insurance course is now in its fourth year and so far more than 120 brokers have been accepted to the programme.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
