CII survey lifts lid on industry pay rates

Survey looking into workplace salaries shows gender imbalance is a challenge for the industry.

Chartered insurance professionals earn over 25% more than non-chartered employees, according to a survey conducted by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

According to the survey, which looked into workplace salaries, employees at insurance companies earned 12% more than brokers, with 66% of brokers earning up to £35,000, compared to 55% of insurers.

Broking profits fall at Saga
