IBSC consulting on handbook for commercial clients
Proposed handbook modelled on Code of Conduct published last year.
The Insurance Brokers' Standards Council (IBSC) is consulting members on the proposed contents for a handbook about advising and providing a service to commercial clients.
A consultation paper on the manual, which covers topics like honesty and integrity, conflicts of interest and competence, was issued last month and the closing date for submissions is 31 May.
According to the IBSC, the guidance is primarily drawn from the opinions of practising insurance brokers expressed over many years and
