Opportunities for brokers in sharing economy, says Biba
Biba and DAC Beachcroft launch guide to provide clarification.
The British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) has identified brokers as the key to accessing insurance for the sharing or collaborative economy.
Together with legal firm DAC Beachcroft, the trade body has launched a guide which it said aims to provide clarification on insurance issues and prevent businesses and individuals invalidating policies or being inadvertently uninsured.
Biba stated the advice is aimed at both brokers and consumers.
