Zurich UK's operating profit increases 19% to £136m
Insurer's GWP also rose to £1.28bn for the first nine months of 2014.
Zurich UK's general insurance business made an operating profit of £136m for the first nine months of 2014 which is a 19% rise from £114m in the same period last year.
The company's gross written premium also rose from £1.25bn in the first three quarters of 2013 to £1.28bn this year.
Zurich's combined ratio stands at 94.9% representing a favourable move from 98.1% twelve months ago.
