Ryan speciality Group hires Peter McKenna

McKenna will oversee the development of MGA strategy in the UK

Ryan Specialty Group (RSG) has hired Peter McKenna to oversee the development of the company's strategy for managing general agents (MGAs) in the UK.

McKenna, who was previously at AIG, will be based in London and report to Mike Rice Sr who is the chairman of RSG Underwriting Managers.

The company believes its new foothold in London will help expand its presence in Europe and the Middle East and it may look to Latin and South America and Asia in the longer term.
