QBE restructures and makes new appointments

Restructuring designed to "put clients at heart" of UK and Ireland business.

QBE has restructured its UK and Ireland operation with, it said, the aim of putting clients at the heart of its business and removing unnecessary layers of management.

The company said it has created three client focused units within its retail division - corporate and large commercial, middle market including commercial combined, and SME - and, as part of this, has announced a number of new appointments.
