Markerstudy buys The Policy Shop
Broker's MD Sean Byrne to leave the business.
Markerstudy has bought personal lines broker The Policy Shop.
The Coventry-based firm will join the retail division of Markerstudy, led by managing director Russell Bence.
According to Markerstudy, the deal will add £20m in gross written premium and 70 staff.
Bence confirmed that all staff would remain with the business "until we can assess staffing requirements".
However, he also revealed that The Policy Shop's managing director, Sean Byrne, would be leaving the business "in order to pursue
