Gallagher takes Taylor from Clear to lead MGA sales

New role follows broker’s recent rebrand of MGA division.

Arthur J Gallagher has appointed Simon Taylor as sales director of its UK MGA division, Insurance Age can reveal.

Taylor moves across to the role - a newly created position spanning the 10 MGAs which Gallagher recently rebranded as Pen Underwriting - from Clear Group where he was executive director.

At Gallagher he will support the business in delivering on its growth plans, with responsibility for devising and implementing a cross-divisional sales strategy.
