Lorica adds five new staff

Broker recruits from Towergate, Kerry London, Gallagher and Arista.

Lorica Insurance Brokers has confirmed four new starters at its Hemel Hempstead, Leeds and London branches.

Ben Corden has joined the head office in Hemel Hempstead as web channel manager having previously held the same title in his former role at Arista.

Martin Addy has also joined in Hemel Hempstead as a senior account handler while Andrew Bevan has been recruited as an account executive.

Addy was previously a senior commercial account handler at Kerry London while Bevan was at Towergate.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
