Bob Trott appointed chairman of Markham Private Clients

Broker highlights that recruitment of Andy Rolph and Matthew Ward completes team from Oak Underwriting joining.

Markham Private Clients has appointed ex-Oak Underwriting managing director, Bob Trott, as chairman.

Trott left the RSA-owned firm in May last year after nine years, including when it was bought by the provider in April 2011.

The specialist high net worth wholesale broker also confirmed that Andy Rolph and Matthew Ward, both previously business development managers at Oak, have joined as divisional directors.

The new team will be responsible for building Markham's broker proposition and HNW
