Towergate tipped for Arista deal
Towergate is in talks to purchase Arista, Insurance Age understands.
Consolidator Towergate is close to finalising a deal for managing general agent (MGA) Arista, with the sale set to conclude as early as this week.
Arista could not be reached for comment and a spokesperson for Towergate declined to comment on market speculation.
Arista has previously been subject to rumours of a possible sale with the most recent speculation being denied at the time by the MGA's chief executive, Charles Earle.
Arista is currently 75% owned by Canopius, which bought a 25% stake
