Towergate to cut 750 roles
Broker moving SME and personal lines business to new call centre.
Towergate is to cut 750 roles across its branch network as a result of moving business to a new Manchester call centre.
The process will see 400 new roles created in the city, resulting in a net headcount loss of 350.
In plans revealed to staff this morning, SME and personal lines customers with premiums of under £5000 will be handled by the new call centre.
