Liberty refutes AccessBI link

Insurer states MGA has never had authority to use its name, issue documentation or bind policies on its behalf.

Liberty Mutual Insurance Europe (LMIE) has distanced itself from AccessBI, Insurance Age can reveal.

According to correspondence seen by Insurance Age, LMIE has warned brokers about policy documentation that may have been issued to Access BI care home customers purporting to show it as the insurer.

The warning read: "We wish to make it clear that at no time has AccessBI Limited had any authority to bind Liberty to insurance policies or to issue documentation on behalf of Liberty or showing
