Covea snaps up Morris for newly-created home claims role

Provider poised to launch its in-sourced household claims service in April 2014.

Covea Insurance has unveiled Kelly Morris in the newly-created role of home claims service manager.

Morris - who was previously with Davies Loss Adjusters as operational delivery manager - will be based in Covea's Halifax office.

The insurer said she will be responsible for establishing and leading its new in-sourced household claims team as it sets its sights on launching an in-sourced household claims service in April 2014.

Morris - who will report to head of operations Stephen Walker - said:

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
