AIG unveils former Lorega CEO Sims as UK private client head

Ex-Lorega chief joins AIG's high net worth arm

AIG has named former Lorega CEO John Sims as the UK head of its private client group (PCG).

Sims - who has also worked at Chubb and run his own consulting company - will report to Ann Owen, head of international private client group and Michel Faucher, director, consumer lines UK and Ireland.

Commenting on his new role, Sims said: "Having worked with AIG on a consultancy basis for the past few months I have seen, first hand, the potential for PCG in the high net worth market.

Broking profits fall at Saga
