QBE's Bathia steps down with immediate effect
Ash Bathia, chief underwriting officer of QBE’s property, casualty & motor (PCM) division is leaving the provider.
According to QBE, Bathia has ceased all executive responsibilities with immediate effect, and will see out his notice period on gardening leave.
Bathia joined the insurer in 1997 and was promoted to the senior management team in 2010.
Steven Burns, QBE CEO, commented: “Ash has made an extraordinary contribution to QBE’s growth and development for over 15 years. We wish him every success with his future career.”
