Zurich goes to Catlin for new CFO
Zurich has appointed Neil Freshwater as chief financial officer (CFO) for its general insurance and shared services business in the UK, effective from 1 May 2013.
He joins from Catlin group, where he was UK CFO, and has also worked at Aviva, Swiss Re and Laurentian Life.
Mr Freshwater replaces John Dyke in the role – Mr Dyke took up the role of personal lines MD in September 2012, following the departure of Karl Bedlow.
