Schemes role split at UK General as Bloomer departs
UK General has confirmed that Karen Beales has assumed overall responsibility for personal lines schemes, with Mike Keating having responsibility for commercial schemes.
It comes after Hiscox moved to appoint UK General's head of commercial schemes Tony Bloomer as a schemes consultant.
Mr Bloomer had joined UK General in April 2012 after having also worked as Ecclesiastical's schemes director.
A UK General spokesperson told Insurance Age: "Schemes are a really critical part of the business.
