SSP suspends service on aggregators

SSP's service on aggregators including Moneysupermarket, Go Compare, Confused.com and Comparethemarket has been suspended.

In a statement the software provider said it had been alerted to a security vulnerability following an unauthorised attack performed on the integration between Google Compare and SSP.

The link between Google Compare and SSP has since been suspended.

The technology company added that the move was taken as a safeguard, was only temporary and confirmed that the vulnerability no longer existed and there was no further risk of data loss from this attack.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
