Jackson consultation slated for leaving brokers in dark
Experts have criticised the Government's Jackson review consultation, claiming it has left the industry "in the dark" on key measures.
In a written ministerial statement before Parliament last month, Justice Minister Jonathan Djanogly, said the consultation on Lord Justice Jackson's Review of Civil Litigation Costs would begin this autumn with a specific focus on the reform of conditional fee agreements. The Government will also seek opinion on alternative funding arrangements such as damages-based agreements or 'contingency fees'.
