Towergate has snapped up troubled mortgage advisory business John Charcol from administration in a bid to boost its high-net-worth (HNW) and small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) proposition.
Towergate has snapped up troubled mortgage advisory business John Charcol from administration in a bid to boost its high-net-worth (HNW) and small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) proposition.
Towergate Partnership chairman, Peter Cullum, described the business as a "perfect fit".
"To have the leading HNW mortgage broker in the group gives us a huge opportunity to provide mortgages to our HNW customers and SME owners," he said.
Under the terms of the deal, all John Charcol staff and directors
