PowerPlace has opened a new head office in Warwickshire, between Warwick and Leamington Spa.
Close to the M40, the office will be the base for the 80 strong team, including its client facing broker development managers and business consultants.
PowerPlace's chief executive, Matthew Reed, said he saw the move as an important step forward in the business' growth plans.
"Our aim is to establish PowerPlace as a vital member of the team for regional brokers as well as a powerful distribution channel for insurers. While our model is centred on the web, we are a people business rather than a technology business and we're committed to building strong relationships with brokers based on face to face contact.
"Our new location, right in the heart of the country, will mean that not only can we support brokers nationwide with great access to markets, products and rates all at the click of a button but that we can get out to spend time with them more easily too," he continued.
Three Counties Insurance Brokers has been using PowerPlace for over two and a half years and for many commercial classes, it has become the broker's predominant source of quotations and cover.
Gareth Millard, managing director, commented: "The main benefit that PowerPlace delivers is that it allows us to compete with larger brokers. It's simple for the team to use and because of the efficiencies it offers, it could save me up to 40% on the expenses of our commercial book. PowerPlace's new office gives the business a great location - we already see a lot of them, but they'll be in here all the time now."
