Phillip Walter, chief executive of software firm Insurecom, has hit back at industry rivals who claim the company's latest financial results owe more to spin than to reality

Phillip Walter, chief executive of software firm Insurecom, has hit back at industry rivals who claim the company's latest financial results owe more to spin than to reality.

The results for 2009 show that turnover increased to £5.6m from just over £5m in 2008 and that the company had finally moved into profit, recording an EBITDA of £500,000.

However, rival software firms that did not wish to go on the record pointed out that Mr Walter had been claiming that Insurecom had moved into profit
