Central unveils plans to open Glasgow office

Aberdeen-based broker increasing Scottish reach

Aberdeen-based Central Insurance Services has announced plans to open a new office in Glasgow.

The company said it was currently in negotiations to secure premises within the city's business district.

A spokesman for the broker confirmed that several key staff appointments had been made with others to follow, adding that a formal announcement would be made in the New Year.

A market source told Insurance Age that at least two staff members were leaving their positions at national broking firms
