Groupama Insurances has rolled out fraud prevention system Hunter across its household and commercial insurance business. The move followed the implementation of Hunter for motor and fleet applications and claims in 2009. The web-based system works on the principle of data sharing, accessing information from insurers and financial institutions on known fraudsters. The insurer said that, by using the system, it could check applications and claims for discrepancies, anomalies or matches against
