Brokers given tools to create their own IT solutions

Edge IPK has launched the latest version of its flagship product, edgeConnect 4.5.

The company claimed the product would allow brokers to bypass IT specialists for the first time and enable them to create their own solutions.

Independent analyst, Butler Group, has estimated that brokers and insurers can save 40% of the cost of developing applications when using the software for the first time.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
