Higos Insurance in Somerset has made its fourth acquisition in 12 months with the purchase of Access Underwriting Agencies (AUA) in Cheltenham. Higos will now be able to write high-risk liability, licensed trades and contractors business with the deal that has brought in over £3m in premiums. Ian Gosden, managing director of Higos, said: "The acquisition of AUA supports our growth strategy to wholesale to other brokers." Higos is anticipating three more acquisitions before the end of the year.
