Lloyd's insurance broker Manning Williams, which employs 70 people, has gone into liquidation. Christopher Morris and Nick Hood of insolvency specialists Begbies Traynor have been appointed as joint liquidators. Manning Williams, which began life in 1976 as Manning Beard, specialised in a range of non-marine insurance lines. Lloyd's has now withdrawn its broking licence.
