Market rumours circulate over who Arthur J Gallagher is targeting next after “biblical” shopping spree

Arthur J Gallagher has barely been out of the press over the last year. Since its purchase of Giles in September 2013, the broker has continued to make changes at a rate other companies can only wonder at.

Broking profits fall at Saga

Underlying profit before tax in Saga’s insurance broking arm fell to £39.8m for the year ended 31 January 2024, compared with £71.5m in the previous period.
