▶ How did you get started in insurance?
It’s the same story as a lot of people. I went to see the careers master as I didn’t know what to do. I was originally going to be a civil engineer but I have an older brother who did that first and I didn’t want to follow him into the same career. The master said ‘well in that case go into insurance’. I think a lot of people in insurance would say they didn’t go in because they planned it – it sort of happened. I’ve certainly never regretted it.
