Market moves: Making moves in the Midlands

The Midlands was the place to be this month with numerous appointments and promotions at all levels, with Commercial Express in particular the source of a few moves. Lorica and Oxford Insurance Brokers also added several employees to their teams.

Notable this month were a series of moves to the Midlands. Allianz Engineering promoted Nigel Williams to regional underwriter for the Midlands, while Arista Insurance appointed Gemma Bradshaw (pictured) to its Birmingham office to help support and grow its Midlands operations. Ms Bradshaw makes the move from Towergate where she was a regional development underwriter for liability. The Purple Partnership also got in on the act (see box below), as did Commercial Express. Broking profits fall at Saga
