Poaching will always be popular if the bait is right. Louise Meeson asks whether it's worth taking a risk in an attempt to net a prize catch.

It seems not a week goes by without a broker or insurer swooping in to steal some high-performing individual or team away from a rival in a bid to boost business or move into a new sector. However, does this approach always work? In reality, does business really move with migrating staff or do brokers risk bankrolling a deal that will never deliver?
