As the only city in East Anglia, Norwich can boast a well-developed infrastructure as well as a diverse and stable economy, with more than 50 financial services companies - including Norwich Union (NU), Virgin Direct and Marsh - calling the area home.
Considered to be an important UK general insurance centre, Norwich has recently been transformed through a programme of construction projects - totalling more than £1bn - in a bid to attract public and private investment to the city and drive
