Just how happy are SMEs with broker services?

A degree of renewed optimism and stability for small and medium-sized businesses appears to be paying dividends for insurance brokers. In a Norwich Union survey the majority of companies expressing a high level of trust in their broker's as Insurance Age reports

Trust is becoming increasingly central to the client- broker relationship within business insurance, however, providing the customer with a quick and easy good deal is also vital.

The latest tracking survey from Holden Pearmain - commissioned by Norwich Union - reveals a 7% increase in small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) selecting their brokers because they trust them.

A total of 42% choose to use a broker because they believe it is the best way to get a good deal, with 17% and 11% of SMEs

Applied updates on commercial push

Applied Systems has confirmed Arch Insurance is about to enter the pilot phase of onboarding and will be live on the Applied Epic broker management system in April with Iprism and Ark to follow and more promised in 2024.
